Official rules

Template. Have these reviewed by a lawyer before running real pools. Sweepstakes law varies by state and some states (for example Florida and New York) require registration or bonding above certain prize values.

1. No purchase necessary

Each tank (pool) on DemonTank is a sweepstakes sponsored by Your Name / Business Name, Nevada. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not improve the odds of any single entry. Void where prohibited by law.

2. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years or older at the time of entry. Employees and immediate family of the sponsor are not eligible.

3. How to enter

Paid entries: purchase entries on the pool page at the listed price, up to the per person cap shown on that pool. Free entries: submit the free entry form linked from any open pool with your name, email and mailing address. One free entry per person per pool. Free entries are added to the pool with the same odds as paid entries.

4. Pool size and drawing

Each pool has a fixed number of entries. When the pool is full (or at the sponsor's discretion if a pool does not fill within 30 days, in which case the draw runs with the entries received), one entry is selected using the provably fair method described on each pool's verify page. The sponsor may run the draw publicly on a live stream.

5. Prize

The prize is the card or bundle pictured and described on the pool page. Estimated values are the sponsor's good faith estimate and are not guaranteed. Prizes are shipped free within the US, sleeved and protected. No cash substitution. Winner is responsible for any taxes.

6. Condition estimates

Condition labels (NM, LP, MP, HP, DMG) and any estimated grade ranges are the sponsor's own opinion based on photos. They are not official grades and DemonTank is not affiliated with PSA, CGC, Beckett or any grading company. The prize is the physical card as pictured, not a particular grade.

7. Winner notification

Winners are posted on the pool page and the winners page, and contacted by email. If a winner does not respond or provide a valid shipping address within 14 days, an alternate winner may be drawn.

8. Refunds

Entry purchases are final once the draw has run. If a pool is cancelled before drawing, all paid entries are refunded in full.
